More of Cornwall: Poly Joke (nr. Newquay)

Poly Joke is a little ‘unknown’ beach next to Crantok in Cornwall. At the start of our trip the weather looked changeable but we went out regardless.

It Actually turned out quite nice.

Yellow Field

One of the nicer shots I took of the beach its self.

Switching to the 70-200 to capture some detail I snapped this girl carrying a load of seaweed across the beach; who knows why?

There were a few poppies in the fields, these two caught my eye. They were promptly photographed, I didn’t even ask their permission!

And these.

Went for a walk over the headland, snuck a shot of the beach.

Back to the UWA (10-22mm) lens. This outcrop of rock looked great as the sun was peaking through the clouds behind me.

Just showing off the wide end of the 10-22mm.

More UWA-goodness. A shot with Hugh looking over the edge.

Finally, a shot of the sea into the sun. I like the colour of these sea along with the shape/pattern of the white surf/foam.
