Failed to execute default Terminal Emulator (when trying to open a terminal in Thunar)

If you get this while using Xubuntu or Ubuntu then go to default applications and change the terminal to a different GUI terminal, such as konsole or xterm. I think the problem is something to do with the xfce terminal not able to support 24-bit colour.

Update (11/08/08): Upgrading Ubuntu will fix the problem.

I encountered the same problem, but I got rid of it by installing libxft.
